Yes, I'm here! Yes, I'm Alive! and Yes, I have a exciting announcement!!!!
NO NO NO NO I am NOT pregnant!!!
Actually I have more than one exciting thing to tell you all! First things first many of you have expressed concern for my health. I want you all to know I am doing GREAT!!! Thank you for your concern I really appreciate you all so much!!!
Okay, next I really think I'm a little crazy. I have so many things running through my mind at this minute. This year I have decided to devote my blog to goals and the journey I take to accomplish them.
I have so many goals and often times I just allow them to go untouched. Not anymore I'm going to accomplish and or at least try all these sometimes crazy ambitions and goals I have in my mind.
So what are my crazy ambitions?? I know your all dying to find out. Well there are many and I'm currently putting together a list. My list is getting longer and crazier as it goes on and on.
My first goal is one I have been working on (and is the reason for my absence from blogging) My first crazy goal/ambition is to publish a book. I'm so excited about this!!! I'm currently compiling my manuscript and I get more and more excited about it each day! So many of you have encouraged me to accomplish this goal. Because my manuscript is currently Top Secret I'm not going to announce here what its about but, I will give you a clue. "You will all Celebrate when you find out what my book is about" he he he can you figure it out??
Another one of my goals is to run a Marathon and participate in the Wasatch Back. This goal is one I wish I could just wake up one day and accomplish. One thing you guys all need to understand is I am not a runner!!! This goal is one that will take work each and everyday! I need to have someone to answer to. So I will be posting on here if I accomplished my daily run or not! If I only have to answer to myself somehow I can always get out of running that day!
Starting this week each week I want my kids and I to participate in some sort of service project together! The project can range from taking cookies to a neighbor to larger projects like gathering items for orphanages and homeless shelters. I want to do this and accomplish this goal for so many reasons! My family and I have been given so much! The least of what we could do is give back and pay forward what we have been given!
Each month I want to write a letter of gratitude to someone who has influenced me throughout my life. I'm going to write a actual letter and mail it in the mail. I know this seems weird but, doesn't something seem more sincere when its hand written and you receive it in the mail. Emails are fantastic but, mail is somehow in my mind just a little more special!
Okay I just ate 2 cookies and I feel sick. Next goal stop eating all the cookies and treats while the kids are gone for the weekend!
Goals are so important and I can't sit back any longer allowing my life to unfold in front of me. I'm going to take charge! I'm going to accomplish the things I want to accomplish! I have the agency and the ability to make my life what I want it to be. I want my life to be full of love, happiness, and family. I don't want to regret anything! I want to live each day to the fullest and have the ability to look back at my life and at the same time have a great hope for tomorrow.
Here is my list (in no particular order)
Cook at least 2 new recipes a month for my family

WOW! I love your ambition! You are very inspiring, thanks for sharing and good luck. I can't wait to hear which you accomplish first!
You always inspire me to be better & try harder. What great goals. You've inspired me to write down some of my crazy dreams & come up with some new ones and ways to grow & improve in my life.
You are super!
I am so grateful for the good example you are to me. I know I could try a little harder and accomplish my goals too!
I love you Karli! John always get after me because I've got this constant desire or "what can I be doing differently to make me and my family better" He tells me sometimes I just need to enjoy where I'm at :) But still, I've picked a few things out, but I'm trying to work on them one at a time. You are so awesome and I love your desire to always improve yourself and become better. Sorry we never got over to deliver whatever it was my kids wanted to give yours :)
Holy cowzers...I think this post is like a whole marathon in length. Impressive. ;D
I love your goals, and that you shared them. So, I would love to go golfing with you this spring/summer. I have never been either, but have wanted to . I have clubs too! My gold bag even has a seat so we could be lazy golfers where one of us sits and the other hits the ball. LOL.
Karli...I really love your goals! They are so awesome! Just so you know Joe used to do professional ballroom...so we could do a date night and he could teach you how to waltz!!! Just saying!
I always thought it, but now I know it, you really are Superwoman! Thanks for this great post and for the encouragement to live every day to the fullest!
You're amazing, Karli! We miss you so much! I loved reading that Kiana says she is still engaged to Ammon. He still talks about her, too. Who knows, we could be in-laws someday! How great would that be? By the way, Ryan and I know how to waltz...you could all come over to learn. Maybe Kiana and Ammon could learn too!
Glad you are back. Glad you are in great health, and that is a great list.. I hope you put when you publish your book so we can all get it and support you and read it! I can't wait
Liz
